We have worked with Varga Art Crystal for over 20 years and have a close relationship with this family owned business based in Hungary.  Originally a cutting and engraving studio based in Budapest the extremely skilled team of crafts people produced some of the very best engraved and hand cut crystal anywhere in the world.  

Their reputation meant that they supplied heads of state and Royalty all over the world, clients who recognised the worth of a truly hand made product, something with a personality not a cold machine made commodity.A few years ago changes to the supply of crystal blanks lead Varga to move to a new site two hours from Budapest in the traditional centre of crystal making in Hungary.  The new facility now allows the production of high quality blanks which can be cut and engraved by the team who have moved from Budapest.  

A large range of standard patterns are available, all of which can be changed to suit the customers requirements,  In addition totally bespoke designs can be created to the clients brief and even bespoke shapes can be made if the standard range does not cover what the client wants, be it a Pilsner glass or a specific size of Burgundy or shot glass.  

As well as skilled cutting and engraving the factory offer a selection of cased crystal in both traditional and more contemporary colours.  In a recent development with a partner company we can now offer gilding on crystal; simple line-work, infill and applied decoration.It is important to stress that Varga is one of the last independent crystal companies who have full control of all aspects of the manufacturing process.  Their flexibility is second to none giving them a unique plus over most suppliers.  This is a hand made product and so naturally we embrace the small differences between items which signify a totally hand made item, something to cherish and for others to admire.
